Jordan XIII Flint

I bought these for myself on black friday, but I gave them to my mom to give to me as a Christmas present, so I really just got these today. In my opinion, these are the best colorway of the thirteens. All the white on the upper is a tumbled leather. The blue on the upper is nylon/polyester fabric. All the dark grey is a very soft suede. I'm glad I managed to get my hands on these even though they are a little big for me. Overall, it's a great shoe, and a nice addition to my collection.

Nike SB Dunk Low Loon

So I bought these about a week ago, but I just forgot to update the blog with these. The background looks different because this is my college dorm rather than my desk at home. Anyway, let's talk about the shoe. I loved the last pair of dunk lows I got, so I knew I needed to get another pair. In my opinion these are the hottest dunks out right now. The toe-box, back strap, and side panels are all grey leather. It feels like really cheap leather which sucks. The toe-cap, eyestays, and back flap are all black with white embroidery stitched in. Hands down the best part of this shoe is the green swoosh and green sole. The shoes looks good, so if you can get your hands on a pair I would.

Nike SB Dunk Low Chun-Li

So it's been a while since I've bought a new pair of shoes, but I'm back with a new pick up. So these are the street fighter inspired dunks. I think these were the best looking pair, so i'm happy I bought them. The upper is made up of three materials. The side-panels, the toe box and the back bit are all blue nylon. The toe cap and the sides of the back are blue suede, and the swoosh is white canvas. I think the best part about this shoe is the gum bottom; you don't see that on a whole lot of dunks. These are my first pair of dunk lows, and I love them. They are super comfortable, and they weren't outrageously expensive. These are a great pair to get back in to collecting with.

Nike SB Janoski Mint

When I first saw this model of shoe I wasn't too wild about it, but after awhile it grew on me and when I saw this color way I knew I wanted these. The shoe itself is very simple. The upper is all suede with embroidered swooshes. The midsole is vulcanized white rubber with a thin black stripe along it. I think the most interesting thing about this shoe is the leather laces, which if you skate board will come in very handy because they won't tear like conventional cloth laces. The shoes are pretty plain but weren't overly expensive. I would recommend these if you are looking for a very simple shoe to just wear around.

Lunar Rejuven8 Mid+

I'd seen these a while ago and I thought they were cool enough so I thought about maybe buying them some day. However, I recently decided that I needed some kind of work out shoe/ running shoe and these seemed like a good choice for that. The mid-sole is all white as is most of the upper. The upper that is white is nike's torch material and the red is all nubuck. Very light and very comfortable, the only problem was that they were kind of expensive considering how little shoe there is.

Nike Dunk AC USA

I loved my first pair of dunk ACs that I got a couple months back, so when I found out they made a pair for the US I figured I should get them too. Once again, these are just really clean, well made shoes. The whole upper is a grey canvas with a white leather swoosh on it. The midsole is a white vulcanized rubber with a black stripe running along the top. Great shoes like the last ones, only this time in a different color.

Apex Initiative x Fatlace Shibuya

I first heard about these maybe 4 months ago, and I knew I wanted them right then and there. The shoe is just so clean and well put together. Not only do these shoes looks clean and well put together, they're just something different than you see day to day. The entire shoe is a waterproof leather. The white leather wrapping around the toe cap and side is a smooth unperforated white leather while the toe box, side panels and back are all a black perforated leather. However, the most eye catching part of the shoes is the electric blue tongue, which is also a unperforated leather. These shoes are very comfortable and look really nice, but my only problem is the way the eyelets and laces are set up make the laces look kind of sloppy.

Lebron VII P.S. (POP)

Lebron James is reason I got so in to basketball in the first place. However, I can't say he really has great shoes. So far, the only other shoe I liked that this one was the Vs. All his other shoes look like moon boots or orthopedics. These on the other hand, are amazing. They're sleeker than all the other shoes and they look very similar to the Jordan XI concords. All around this shoe is really really nice. All the side panels are the clearish flywire with a black patent leather wrap around at the bottom of the shoe. The inside back panel is white leather is the Lebron lion on it, which I think makes the shoe. They have very icey soles with a nice piece of carbon fiber in the middle of them. These are very nice shoes that I am excited to wear.

Nike SB Dunk Mid Mama Bear

Ever since I saw the 3 bears pack, I have wanted any of the shoes out of the pack. However, out of all of them I especially wanted the mama bears. The only problem was that ever pair I found was almost 400 dollars. The other day I found a bidding session for these that was starting at 11 dollars and when I won it I ended up paying roughly half of what i'd seen other places. Every green part of the shoe that you see is a green suede. The swoosh is a pink tumbled leather. The tongue seems to be a really soft nubuck almost. However, the most eye-catching part of the shoe is the fur, which covers the toe-box, the side panels and the back. This is my first pair of mids, and they are extremely comfortable, even more so than my dunk highs. After getting these, I know I want to collect the rest of the three bears.

Nike Dunk AC Brasil

When I first saw these on the internet, I was really interested in them, so when I saw them in a store up in the haight on wednesday I decided to get them. The whole upper is a black canvas, except the swoosh and the white tab which are white leather. The entire sole and most of the mid-sole are a while vulcanized rubber, except a thin little green band of rubber that runs right above the white mid-sole. I really like these shoes because they are so clean and low-key. These are comfortable like all my other dunks, so I recommend anyone who wants these get these if they ever get the chance.

NIke SB Dunk Hi Brainwreck

So I liked my last pair of dunks so much that I decided that I needed another pair. I looked at a lot of other dunks like the Guccis and the papa bears, but I think that these were the best pair for the best price. All around its a really clean shoe with out lots of extra stuff thrown on it. Almost the entire upper is a grey suede except the toe-box, swoosh, back-tab, and tongue. The swoosh and back tab are a plastic/rubber like material. The toe-box and tongue are both a bright pink 3m material. The shoes also came with a pair of grey kevlar laces, but like i've said before I don't really like kevlar laces. On the heel of the left shoe it says brain and on the heel of the right it says wreck. By far the coolest thing about these shoes is the brain pattern that is stitched in to the sock liner of the shoes. The 3m material is a bit stiff and it creases really easily but other than that these are pretty good shoes.

1/2 Cent Black/Green

When I first saw the 1/2 cents, I knew I liked them. The colorways were clean as was the design. Last time I was at nike town I saw these, but they were almost 200 bucks, which I didn't want to spend on these. So when I was buying my purple foams today I saw that these were on sale, so I picked these up for almost half price. The entire side panel wrap around is the foamposite material. The rest of the upper which is pretty much the eyelets and the back bit is all suede. The tongue is a mesh material. The thing that stands out about this shoe the most to me is the semi-translucent green bottom. I like these shoes a whole lot, and I would highly reccomend them to anyone else who is considering them.

Foamposite One Eggplant

I'd heard about these coming out for a couple months and I was kind of iffy about them. I know they are a pretty popular shoe, but I wasn't sure if I could really pull them off. The price was a bit off putting as well. However, after lacing them up differently and breaking them in a bit, I have to say I like this shoe now. The entire upper is a eggplant purple foamposite material except for the tongue, which is mesh. The purple on this shoe pops. The color seems to change every I look at it; its pretty cool. The sole is really icey and I plan on keeping it that way. I don't think i'll get any other of the foamposite ones, but I am happy with my purchase.

Zoom Kobe V Chaos

OK so I really don't like Kobe at all, so when I first saw these I was pretty much against them just because they had his name on them. I liked the colors on these when I first saw them, but I figured i'd pick them up later if I really wanted them. However, I noticed that these were never restocked and that I actually really liked the colorway. I was a bit bummed that I missed these, so I started looking around and on the internet they were all like $180-200, which I wasn't really cool with. I went to my local foot locker today, and luckily i got the last pair they had which also were in my size. I think all the of the shoe is synthetic. The side-panel and toe-box are the same purple/blue material. It has a large almost alligator skin print on it . All the white on the shoe is a snake/shark skin print as well as the black toe cap. The mid sole is all white with a blood splatter effect on it. The shoe is pretty narrow and tight, so I have to lace these a bit looser, but I have to say they aren't that uncomfortable. All in all they're a pretty decent shoe.

Adidas Skywalker

When I heard about the adidas x star wars collection, I knew I was going to have to get something from the pack. I had a hard time deciding between these and the storm troopers, but in the end I decided to grab these, although I might get the storm troopers as well. The toe box, side panel, and a little bit of the back are all orange canvas. The rest of the back is a white nylon. The tongue and a strip on the heel of the shoe have a ruffle like rubber on them. The three white stripes on the sides of the shoe are all white leather. The inside is a leather of sorts. I think adidas did a pretty good job with the shoe, it looks a lot like the suit that luke wore in his x-wing. Great shoes, one of my most comfortable yet., all around terrific.

Nike SB Dunk Hi Boom

I was up in the city over the weekend, and I went to HUF, which is a pretty famous skate shop up in the city. I'd heard about these from the internet and some people seemed to like them and some people didn't. I personally like them, so I figured I'd buy them. These are my first pair of SBs, and I have to say they are pretty damn comfy. The entire shoe is made out of leather. I don't really know what kind it is just kind of a slick smooth leather. The back, toe-box, a small part of a the side panels, and tongue are all black. Most of the side panels are yellow. The swoosh and the inside lining are all red. These came with red kevlar laces, which looked good color wise but looked shitty quality wise. They were lumpy and uneven. After these I plan on getting more SBs.

Jordan XI Space Jams

So I finally got the Space Jams. I had been excited to get them from the time I had heard about them, and I was going to camp out for them, but my friend bailed at the last second so I couldn't go. Anyway, I finally found a fair price on ebay so I grabbed them. Most of the shoe is a nylon material same with the laces. The mid sole is all white, and the sole is clear with a bit of blue and carbon fiber. There is a whole strip of patent leather wrapping around the shoe right above the midsole.They're a little bit stiff but once I break them in they should be nice. These shoes made my day; they're amazing.
